Welcome To My Web Site! My name is Oscar Peyton. I am a member of USA Track and Field Masters, the National Senior Games Association, and the World Masters Athletics. The WMA competitions are held only once every two years in different countries around the world. USATF Masters & WMA athletes compete in five year age groups starting at age 35. The National Senior Games are held every two years (2011, 2013, 2015, etc.) in different states around the USA. To participate in the National Games, you must first qualify through a NSGA State Competition during the even years (2012, 2014, 2016, etc). Participants must also be at least 50 years old during the qualifying year. The purpose of this website is to provide the visitor with practical information on ways to improve health and running speed while filling you in on my Masters Track & Field journey from couch potato to Masters World Champion. For me, it all started when I was 49 years old and suddenly decided that I wanted to compete in organized Track & Field events. At that time, I had health issues with high cholesterol. Since that time, it has been my mission to gather and analyze as much information as possible on ways to improve my health and improve my speed. This information was gathered from various sources. I have also been analyzing and performing different techniques that I have learned at competitions to share with you in hopes that you can use it to become a fitter, faster athlete. If you are not participating in a competitive sport and you are not attempting to improve your health and speed; you will still enjoy this website for its information and entertainment content. A wide variety of information that rewards you in many ways is just a few clicks away. There is information here (along with some video) about general health, nutrition, addressing injuries, and links to other good websites as well. So, be sure to comb through this website in its entirety. You will find the contents beneficial; no matter what sport you are participating in, and no matter what your level of competition is (Junior High School, College, Professional, and Masters). Continue to visit periodically, as I will keep you abreast of my track & field journey and continue to broaden the contents of this website. ŠThis site was designed by PeytonProject Inc. Contact Me |
