Welcome To My Web Site! The purpose of this website is to provide the visitor with practical information on ways to improve health and running speed while filling you in on my Masters Track & Field journey from couch potato to Masters World Champion. For me, it all started when I was 49 years old and suddenly decided that I wanted to compete in organized Track & Field events. At that time, I had health issues with high cholesterol. Since that time, it has been my mission to gather and analyze as much information as possible on ways to improve my health and improve my speed. This information was gathered from various sources. I have also been analyzing and performing different techniques that I have learned to share with you in hopes that you can use it to become a fitter, faster athlete. If you are not participating in a competitive sport and you are not attempting to improve your health and speed; still, you can use this website for its information and entertainment content. If you are an athlete, you'll find the contents beneficial; no matter what sport you are participating in, at any level of competition (Junior High School, College, Professional, or Masters). A wide variety of information that rewards you in many ways is right here. More about Me. I am a member of USA Track and Field Masters, the World Masters Athletics and the National Senior Games Association. The USATF Masters Championships are held yearly to determine who are the fastest male and female athletes in the USA. The WMA Championships are held every two years in different countries around the world to determine who are the fastest male and female athletes in the World. USATF Masters & WMA athletes compete in five year age groups starting at age 35. The National Senior Games are held every two years (2011, 2013, 2015, etc.) in different states around the USA. To participate in the National Games, you must first qualify through a NSGA State Competition during the even years (2012, 2014, 2016, etc). NSGA athletes compete in five year age groups starting at age 50. There is information here (along with some video) about general health, nutrition, addressing injuries, and links to other good websites as well. So, be sure to comb through this website in its entirety. Mainly, visit here to keep track of my Masters Track & Field achievements. Continue to visit periodically, as I continue to broaden the contents of this website. ŠThis site was designed by PeytonProject Inc. Contact Me |
